CHEAPER BY THE HALF DOZEN

Christmas Eve

on February 17, 2013

We made our annual trip to Brentwood on Christmas Eve. A very fun tradition in my opinion. The kids seem to enjoy it. Scott tolerates it (thanks babe)! :o)

Actually we really do have a great time. Good food, good company. Home early enough to get kids and parents in bed at a decent hour for Christmas the next day. Erika gave me a wax warmer thing that makes my house smell wonderful. There are so many different scents and it just makes the whole downstairs smell nothing like what my house usually smells like!!

All the kids. They are all getting so big.

The kids all made out with one book and one toy. Scott got a baking basket full of fun stuff to do in the kitchen. Due to our year, we were not able to return the generosity, but they understand.

Erika has lost so much weight. I was so proud of her. I know she’s been trying so hard. Yay Erika!

After a wonderful meal, some even more wonderful desserts and opening all the presents, we headed home. Fortunately for most, but not so fortunate for me, we brought home more bodies than we went with. But that is a post for another time…

Pretty good spur of the moment family photo op…

It’s almost Christmas day! Yay! Only two months late…
