CHEAPER BY THE HALF DOZEN

Ward Christmas Breakfast

on February 5, 2013

This year for our Ward Christmas Celebration it was proposed that we do a breakfast. What a FABULOUS idea. It was SUPER fun.

We had a wonderful breakfast of “make your own” pancakes, sausage, ham, bacon, fruit and any topping you could think of for pancakes. Then, to top it all off, Scott made homemade cinnamon rolls for the whole ward. The whole church building smelled heavenly!! I’m so lucky! Scott is so generous and kind and GREAT at cooking.

After stuffing ourselves silly we had the fun opportunity to see the primary kids put on a showing of Christ’s birth. Alix was Mary, Milo was an inn keeper and my three little girls were angels. It was so cute and it kept us smiling the whole time.

We also got to sing some Christmas carols as a ward and then SANTA visited. We were so shocked he had time to visit us during the busy season. But visit he did! After that it was clean up time and home to do chores! :o) All in all a wonderful morning!

These boys thought they were too cool to sit on Santa’s lap alone, but together they cheesed it!
