CHEAPER BY THE HALF DOZEN

Easter

on April 27, 2012

We have found recently that holidays are not complete unless we involve the missionaries somehow. And my sister of course. So we had quite the party here for Easter!

Gett'n the water ready for eggs. Since we had so many people coloring at once we made 12 glasses of colors.

We do the egg coloring and big dinner celebrating on Saturday usually. It just makes for a less stressful Sunday. So we did dinner, egg dying and made chocolate baskets to fill with yummy stuff.

This poor missionary was on exchanges with our missionaries and Niah spilled a cup and it spilled right on him. Luckily the color was the same as his pants color.... Such a sport!

Elder Christianson. We like this guy!

Thanks Maranda for your idea last year. Milo was the only one who wanted to do it but I guess it worked great.

I think everyone had fun. The baskets didn’t work so well for the under 10 crowd, but they still had fun and had LOTS of sugar.

Yummy dinner of Navajo Tacos. Mmmmm!!

Coolest thing ever. They really are fun and EASY to make. But be careful, they melt pretty easily.....

Sara loved all the fun things to do.

See what I mean about the under 10 crowd....wait, Alix IS 10!!

Eggs dried, baskets filled, these boys are ready to go home.

Sunday morning the kids got a few treats. Most of them came from Auntie Sara. She just went a little crazy this year, but the kids LOVED it. They were so spoiled.

Happy Easter!

The kids loved finding their chocolate baskets all filled up in the morning.

See all the loot? They were all VERY fond of the bunnies from Grandma and Grandpa Thompson. Afton used her $1 to get a bag of gumballs to fill up her gumball machine. Thanks for making her day!!

Even Scott got to stay home later than usual to enjoy the Easter festivities.

Church was very nice. The choir did a few numbers and YW was so great. We just showed a video but it was a heart wrenching one that brought the spirit so strong! After church the kids came home and pigged out on chocloate and any other sugary thing they could get their hands on!!

'Too many if you ask me!!' Name the movie.....

Speaking of which, do you know the meanest thing you could ever do to a kid, or adults for that matter? Hadn’t realized it before hand or I never would have done it. Take a child, in this instance a cute little girl, and put a cast on their leg so they can’t walk or do anything to release pent up energy and then give them as much candy as they want for 48 hours…. Need I say more??
