I usually have quite a few extra kids here on any given day, or all given days. I don’t mind. Other children love my house and my children love having buddies over. But during the winter it can be a little less fun since we are all crammed inside. It can get a little cramped in here.
So when the first really nice day came and we had extra kids over for the day my Niah sprang into action. She set up a puppet show for all the kids (they were all under 6). Niah LOVES to take charge and when she has such a captive audience, it’s even better for her!
It kept kids entertained outside for 2 hours. She’s such a good helper and big sister. She’s a natural leader. Confident in who she is and not afraid of being the center of attention. She seems to happily skip through life.
But interestingly enough she is petrified of her baptism coming in November. The end of November! Just last night she broke down in tears about how nervous she is. I tried to help her calm down but I think we were both really tired. So we just sat on the couch and read and then went to bed.
I’ve never really been a worrier. What do you do with a worrier??
