Sami's World

CHEAPER BY THE HALF DOZEN

Fun Stuff

Last week at P.E. I looked out at the field and noticed that Milo was playing soccer in an all girl group. I was slightly confused as to why he got put with that group. I politely went up to one of the mom’s and inquired as to why this had happened. She said that all the kids had broken up into pairs to kick the ball back and forth. When they were done with that exercise they had half the field go to one group and half the field go to another group. She said that Milo was kicking back and forth with a girl and that he just joined that group with her. I pointed to Alix and asked if that was the girl. She said yes. I told her that was his sister. We both couldn’t help laughing and she said she’d help make sure he got a little more “boy” time next week. I just have to laugh because he probably didn’t even notice. He is so used to playing with girls all the time (his sisters) it was just the natural thing to do. Fortunately for all of us, he was with the boys this week!!

Afton informed me the other day that her diaper was too tight. I’ve never had a child tell me that before. I thought it was too cute and we adjusted it and she ran off playing!

The other day Afton walks in and is soaking wet. Scott asked her, ‘How did you get wet?’ To which she replied ‘With water!’

For fun we looked up Sami’s World on Google. Did you know there are 2 other blogs with Sami’s World as the title? It was slightly depressing. I was amazed at the number of people with the name Sami and how many of them have blogs! I guess I really am absolutely unique….just like everyone else!

Jaime’s determination has won her praises again! Toward the end of last dance class, Jaime’s dance teacher, Mrs. Gentry, wanted the girls to learn how to do a back bend. Jaime tried but just couldn’t do it. Well, she finally accomplished it and is very proud of herself and will show anyone who cares to watch and, to her delight, was the envy of her dance class today! Only one other girl could do it. Jaime might be getting a little cocky about it, but I guess when you are good, you are good!! :0)

Milo says to Niah the other day ‘Do you want to play the C A R game?’ To which Niah asks ‘What is the C A R game?’ Milo happily proclaims, ‘The car game of course!’ He is getting too smart!
