We took our annual free homeschool day field trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium on November 7. I believe this is the 5th year we have gone. My friend Laura and I have this tradition that we carpool up there, hang out all day and then go to the Denis the Menace park till it’s too dark to see. Then we head home. The tradition has become so much a part of our friendship that we were so glad we could still fit in my van this year. As cool as the aquarium is, the whole time we were there the kids couldn’t stop asking about when we’d leave to go to the park. It is seriously the coolest park I’ve ever been to and all the kids think so too.

On our way to the car Niah snuck out on the beach. I wouldn’t have minded too much but they were already wet from the aquarium and it wasn’t getting any warmer outside! I was concerned they’d get too cold at the park.

Best part of the trip?? No one got car sick resulting in puking. That is huge for us!! Till next year….
Oh, it makes me so happy to see this post. I was just thinking about the Kohns and wondering if they were still around and how they were doing.
And is Milo getting tall or what? He looks like he’s just about up to your shoulders!! Nina is only up to my armpits. Jeesh, could you tell the boy to quit growing up?
