I must get my journal up to date. If not, then my posterity might one day suffer…. :o)
Here are some fun things that have happened in the months of September, October and November, that I have no pictures of and very little detail since it’s been so long:
-Keri can pump herself on a swing
-Keri can count things
-Alix is sewing like a champ and is even helping with the costumes for a performance of The Nutcracker
-We had a girls night out that lasted till 2am. SO FUN!
-Jaime and Alix took a 1 day anatomy class where they got to dissect
a squid.
-I started watching 3 boys twice a week. You can only imagine the heavenly state in which that put Milo!! VERY GOOD boys and they were a delight to have around.
-We have a new family in our ward and the mom and dad were on the BYU ballroom dance team. They taught dancing at a ward dance we had. Super fun. Scott and Jaime rocked the dance floor. I was consoling Niah who had her heart broken by Logan because he would not dance with her.
-Lots of school work and chores have been accomplished.
-Piano is going well
-Jaime started working at Gayle’s restaurant on Thursdays.
-Jaime paid for dance class and attends that on Thursday evenings.
-I’ve arranged 2 cub scout outings. One to a computer company and one to a fire station. We also helped with scouting for food.
-Got to know a homeschooling family better and have done some things with them. They have 4 boys and 1 girl. It’s PERFECT!! The girl is in heaven and so is Milo.
-Have gotten in good with the cheese guy. LOVE HIM. Bought over 400 pounds of white cheddar cheese in 3 weeks. We got it for a little less than a dollar a pound. Have you ever seen a 40 pound block of cheese??? I have!!
-I was on the Halloween party committee. That was fun.
-Traveled to Fresno to be with my sister who was nominated for an award through Turning Point.
-Milo is deaf and might need tubes again. Ok so he’s not deaf but be prepared to talk very loudly around him!
-Jaime went on her first youth baptism trip. All she had to say was ‘I hope dad gets to baptize me and not some hairy guy I don’t know’. NICE!!
-We had 4 families over for dinner and dessert during the Saturday sessions of priesthood. So much fun. We had a quick dinner before sending the men off. When they got back we all had dessert together. The last family didn’t leave till after 10pm. Late, but fun.
-We went to a violin performance on temple hill. Beautiful performance. The violinist was Jenny Oaks Baker. O’well, we have a picture of her but it’s only in hard copy….
I think that is the run down of the last few months. I’ll be making some more posts with pictures and more details of the events that deserve their own post.

LOVE the updates! It sounds like you guys have so much going on, usual Thompson awesomeness! Happy Holidays!!!!!
Oh, poor Milo and his deaf ears.
Man that’s a lot of cheese to cut! Where do you keep it all? Do you now have a cheese freezer?
Sounds like life is productive and happy. Miss you!
