None of these need a full post, so I’ll put lots of little things into one! These events took place in October and November in between all the big events I’ve already blogged about!
Keri has a shoe fetish. She will go around putting on anybody’s shoes and socks and walk around. She is actually quite good at it. The other day she was running down the street with Alix’s shoes on and doing a wonderful job!
[Yes, those are scissors she is holding. I’m telling you, she’s the typical 6th child…]
It’s been mighty cold here in the bay area. A couple of weeks ago it got down to the low 30’s. But would I turn on the heater?? NO!! Not until it got so cold in the house that we were all dressed like this:
I made my yearly batch of apple butter, apple pie filling and dehydrated apples for munching. I finally learned my lesson this year about making sure your jars are warm before you put them into the bath water….
[Can you tell the bottom of the jar is gone?]
[First peeling and coring all the apples…]
[Then we wash all the jars with HOT water (well, we are suppose to anyway….!)]
[Mmmmm, apple butter! Hot bath water and hot water for the lids, almost done!]

Milo has a really good imagination when it comes to death and destruction. Here is his latest invention:

Jaime participated in her first girls camp fundraiser. Which meant she also went to a couple of mutual activities. Yep, my little girl will be old enough to go to girls camp in 2011! Am I ready for this?? It really was fun to work with her. She sold 30 ornaments and 9 wreaths. She made enough to go to girls camp and I am happy about that!
NO!!!!!! Jaime cannot be old enough to be in YW next year!! She was just a sassy 7 year old when we left! (I think so anyway.)
I think I want some apple butter now. But not with glass chunks in it. :-)
