With mom gone, Sara is all alone in Fresno. She has friends and she has the ward, but family is always nice to be around. So we’ve arranged that she will come once a month for about 5 days. Her first visit was August 10-14. She came so she could be here for Alix’s birthday and that was nice to have her here.
On August 11 we went to the zoo and to the temple. It had been many years since Sara had been to the temple grounds and she enjoyed every minute of it. We thoroughly enjoyed the zoo too. It was a lot of hard walking and I didn’t bring enough food, but we all survived and even laughed and played.
August 12 was Alix’s birthday.
August 13 we went swimming with our good friends the Eyre’s. It was so nice of Kimberly to invite us over to swim and have a bbq. Again, Sara thoroughly enjoyed that too because it had been too many years since Sara could have that much fun at a pool. It was good times.
Niah finally got up the courage and jumped off the diving board. I was so impressed and she was too. She had so much fun after that!
Sara left Saturday morning. She says she had a good time and I think we kept her busy. She was super helpful too. She enjoyed playing with the kids and she kept them busy most of the time. She was also super helpful with clean up and even did all my dishes. I’ll keep her!!
