My courageous, faithful mother was taken home to her Heavenly Father last night. I think of her when I read the scriptural account of the 2000 stripling warriors. “We do not doubt our mothers knew it.” (Alma 56:48) My mom shared her testimony often in the way she lived her life and in the sacrifices she made for her family and for others. I will miss her dearly while here in mortality, but I will be reunited with her again. I know this for a surety. I love you mom!

Sami- Just heard about Jan. I agree with all of these posts. She was a wonderful,spiritual woman with much love in her heart for her family and others. I have thought often of the fun and funny times we shared w/ her and you girls and feel blessed to have known her. (and you and Sara) Please know our hearts are with you all and that with our knowledge of the gospel, you are right, you will be together again and what a joyous day that will be! Your mom was a wonderful person. I had many good visits with her as her bishop and home teacher. She was really one who had a pure heart.
