It’s been a while since I last updated my life. Unfortunately I don’t remember as much as I’d like to. I guess we’ll have to enjoy the skeleton details of my life.
Friday July 18 was my bread pick up day. It was an interesting experience this time. The person who was suppose to get me the bread was new and so it was taking a little longer than usual. It didn’t help that her manager kept telling her she was doing it wrong and in the end, the manager was the one who was wrong. I got home sometime after 10 and there were plenty of people here ready and willing to take the bread off my hands.
Saturday July 19 was clean day!! Scott had his outside to do list and I had my inside to do list and we accomplished most of both! Scott did the back lawn, patio, broke up one picnic table, set up another one, and hauled one dresser down stairs and another up stairs. I cleaned out all the dressers, moved them around and put them all back together. I also directed the kids with their chores and took care of Keri. It was a super productive day that didn’t seem to accomplish much. We then went and did a D.I run and grabbed dinner. We made it home in enough time to do our usually Saturday night routine.
Sunday was our first Sunday that Keri decided to be awake during Sacrament meeting and so I asked our R.S. President if she’d like to hold Keri while Scott taught his lesson and then she could pass her back. At 15 after 11 Scott comes up and asks where Keri is. I shrug at him and tell him to check the R.S room. I guess all the ladies at church were enjoying the company of Keri and didn’t want to give her up!! :0) I did my visiting teaching and we had a nice dinner, followed by a family walk and bed time.
Monday July 21, we went to my friend Tiesha’s house and played and had a good time. We spent the rest of the day getting ready for FHE. Jaime had been preparing a lesson on Joseph Smith’s first vision. She was suppose to give a Family Home Evening lesson on it as part of her duty to God. She decided she wanted to invite our neighbors and so she did. She did a very good job and the neighbors seemed to enjoy having Family Home Evening with us. Jaime is a good missionary and I am grateful for her ability to share the gospel with ease.
Hi!!!!!! This is Mande John from Blythe. Or Mande Pratt as you remember me. Or the girl that likely teased you entirely too much and is very sorry. Mandi emailed me your site today. I think I read back over a year. Your children are adorable! So nice to catch up on your life. Take care.
