Mother’s day was especially great this year because we were able to go visit my mom and take her out in her wheelchair and all enjoy the sunshine and cool breeze together. The kids had a great time playing outside with grandma and showing her all the new things they’ve learned and grandma seemed to enjoy the fresh air and the energy of her grandkids.
Jaime and Alix made me some scrapbook pages of pictures of me when I was younger. That was fun to get. The other kids made me some cards. Those were nice. Scott made sure all was ready so that we could go visit my mom right after church. It was a wonderful day.

[Afton was just in love with grandma this trip. She wanted to always be next to her and talk to her and just spend time with her. I think it made grandma feel very special.]
All in all it was a wonderful day and we had a good time visiting and playing and laughing and eating and just being together. Thanks Scott and mom for such a wonderful day!!
