I had mentioned before that we wanted to attend one A’s game month. Well our May 5 game ended up having to be an afternoon game. It turned out quite well and I’m glad we went. The game was at 12:30 in the afternoon. Scott just took the whole day off and we went up early to see if we could find parking on the street instead of paying the outrageous parking fee at the game. We got there in enough time to find ample parking and walk to the stadium. We had such a good time. The only down side to the whole event was the weather. If your seats were in the sun you got really hot and sun burned. If they were in the shade you were freezing. I dressed the kids thinking we’d be sitting the the sun but sat in the shade. We were all freezing pretty much the whole time. But we had a good time, the A’s won and we made some GREAT family memories!

[This was Afton’s first game. She kept asking us the whole time ‘When does the game start?’. Guess she didn’t quite get it….]
[We moved back into the sun toward the end of the game as people left their spots to go home. We mostly defrosted by the time we had to walk back to the car!]
[Alix and I had so much fun doing this. I’m so blessed with 5 wonderful girls and I think we are going to have so much fun together in the coming years, just as we have in the previous years!]
