Well December 23, 2009 has come and gone and so has another birthday. But what a birthday it was! It started out with my wonderful husband making me a homemade red velvet cake. He did such a fabulous job!

It was getting late so I went to bed and this amazing guy stayed up and finished the project.
The next morning I was greeting with lots of kisses and birthday wishes. Very nice indeed. Then my friends Li-Li and Louise came over with lunch. We ate and chatted. It was so fun! Scott came home early and we went with Roberta and family over to Veronic’s house (one of Roberta’s friends that I have grown to love and so she volunteered to host my birthday dinner).
[Not sure what the fascination is, but we all thought this was totally funny that the kids were drinking out of wine glasses, especially my kids!!]

She was so fancy with her meal preparation and setting of the table. We all had such a good time! I felt VERY spoiled!!

After being spoiled the kids played some Wii and the adults chatted around the table. A truly relaxing time!
After that we went into the piano room and sat around singing Christmas carols together. Another VERY fun thing.
[Jaime walked right in and enjoyed the piano right away. She is getting really good and will usually sit at any piano and tink out a tune!]
After signing we did cake and ice cream and presents. What generous friends and family I have. I got my cake and some marshmallow cream from my VERY thoughtful husband (if you only knew how awesome it was for me to get marshmallow cream you’d realize how awesome Scott is). From Roberta and fam I got new p.j. bottoms and some fluffy slippers. Veronic gave me a gift card. All wonderful, all fun and so memorable.
