CHEAPER BY THE HALF DOZEN

Christmas Creche

on December 18, 2009

Did you know that there is only one difference between the word Creche and Nativity? Creche is the French word and Nativity is the English word (I think….). And Christmas Creche just sounds catchier. Anyway, we made our family trip the the Christmas Creche this year on Monday December 7. Oh what fun that was.

[Can you see me on my crutch in the background??]

They make is so kid friendly and the kids REALLY enjoy seeing all the different interpretations of Christ’s birth. They also have this amazing children’s room that makes life even more fun for the little people (and big people too).

[My little sheep….]

Roberta and family came with us this year. They said they had a great time and enjoyed seeing all the different Nativities too.

I had an interesting time this year trying to maneuver around everything on crutches. I’ll be sure not to be injured next year. It will be so much more fun!

We of course enjoyed a couple of glasses of hot chocolate before heading home. I LOVE Christmas traditions. Well, I LOVE family traditions!

hmmm, that reminds me… I think we missed the one they do here. What with Frankie being out of town for an entire week (ok 6 days) I’ve just been trying to get through each day!
