Monday October 26 we carved our pumpkins into Jack-o-Lanterns. We had such a fun time doing it. As an added bonus, we got Grandma Thompson’s package in the mail. It was such a fun and early Halloween night.
[Grandma’s package. Dad gets the honor of opening it and looking first.]
[Come on dad, we can’t take the suspense any longer!!]
[THANKS GRANDMA!! The candy filled ghosts were awesome and yummy!! :o)]
[Making sure it’s all cleaned out…..]

[“Myme Jaylees” (apparently it’s a combo of Jaime Louise and Milo James)]
AND……..
[“Gold Fish”. Like the hair bow??]
We really did have LOTS of fun that night and we LOVE spending time as a family. I hope this lasts into the teenage years. Traditions are what keep families going. I have to be careful though because sometimes I want to change a tradition and my kids get a little uneasy about that. Traditions can only be changed when all family members agree. That’s a good thing to learn early. Thank goodness I did!! Till next year…….
