Sunday October 25 was our primary sacrament meeting program. I tried to remind myself the whole time that no matter what happens at the practices, the program ALWAYS turns out perfect. But with all the sickness going on and other outside influences, I let the practices stress me out.
BUT……
The program came out PERFECT. Without a flaw. We even kept it to the 40 minute time limit. We sang 9 songs all verses and each child and teacher had a speaking part. Talk about efficient and time conscious!! Anyway, the kids were fabulous. They each said their part with ease and perfection. Milo didn’t even breath heavy into the microphone this year. He did sing his heart out though and was the loudest of them all!!
I love the primary program and am so glad to be part of the behind the scenes production of it. I hope to be involved in many more primary programs before I see my release.
At dinner after the program we were talking about how Afton will be in it next year. There will be 5 Thompson’s in the program. Afton got all excited and proclaimed ‘I be in primary next year. Yay!!’. Now we just need to get Scott in there and it’ll be a done deal (Keri will be nursery).
