My favorite thing to do is plan my next post. Sometimes while I’m in the shower I come up with the greatest things to write about. Whether or not those ideas actually make here in print is another story! I’d love to write every night about all these wonderful ideas I have but life seems to get in the way and dictate my ability to write every night. Well one post I don’t want to be forgotten is as follows:
DREAM WEEK!!
For the first time in my homeschooling career, I get to boast about an amazing week. Yes folks, an amazing WEEK. Not day, not hour, but WEEK! Monday September 28-Friday October 2 was my dream week. All four kids got ALL their school work AND chores done EVERY DAY!! But wait it gets better….it all happened with minimal whining, crying and unhappiness. As a matter of fact a gentle reminder was all that was necessary to get my desired results. No I did not lock myself in my house all week. We still went to all of our extra curricular activities and a couple more on top of that. The kids still had time to do the things they love and they look forward to next week when we get to do it all again. I never ever thought I’d write an entry like this, but here it is.
I never did get to write that one or many others due to my week of sickness. That’s a whole other entry. Just bask in my happiness as I try to repeat that week this week. Here’s to happiness in the home!
