Well we attended our last A’s game of the season. Not that any of us are really all that into baseball but we have found some family fun in going to baseball games this summer. The kids really enjoy being in the stadium and feeling the energy of the game. We all do!!
[Never knew you could do that with candy corn now did you? My amazing husband!]
So we attended our last game on Wednesday September 23, 2009 @ 7:05pm. It was the first game we had attended that the A’s lost. It was too bad. We really appreciated that they won every time we went. Guess you can’t win them all…..
[Ashley might kill me for this someday, but I’m ok with that!!]
What made the night more fun was that we attended with another family. The Dalrymple family joined us in our festivities. We were able to fit everyone into our van (we left Afton and Keri home with a babysitter. Thanks Brittany!).
[Not that great of a picture, but it gives you the idea. Lots of people, lots of fun!]
We enjoyed $2 seats, $1 hot dogs and LOTS of Wal Mart candy. I popped pop corn and, just in case, took some carrots (although I forgot about them and they never got eaten!!).
The game went extra long and we didn’t get home till 11:15pm. We were all pretty tired. But it was a good ending to our wonderful summer.
[Joseph the candy corn monster….need I say more?? (I think we are all a little ready for Halloween to come, what do you think??)]
