We went on our annual trip to the Monterrey Bay Aquarium on the 10th of December 2012. I love our Monterrey trip. We all look forward to it every year. For the last 3 maybe 4 years in a row we have gone with our friends the Kohn’s. But this year was crazy for them and they were not able to attend. So we ventured there alone. It was a VERY nice day. Both in weather and child temperament. The aquarium was nice and not too crowded, the snacks and food I brought were a perfect amount and the kids were super well behaved. So every year the greatest torture my children think they have to endure is family picture day. They have to dress in clothes they don’t want to wear, fix their hair how mom wants it and do exactly what they are told while smiling all the while. Read the rest of this entry »

We knew with all the extra people staying at our house we needed a concise shower routine. I have showers down really well around here for Sunday morning and so I took that schedule and just shifted it one hour earlier to leave that extra hour for the others. Read the rest of this entry »
