We had such a good Thanksgiving this year. We do every year. I love the Thanksgiving holiday. It’s not only a time to give thanks but it’s a time to get together with friends and family and enjoy a super yummy meal and day together. Read the rest of this entry »

Niah turned 7 in November. She’s growing up so fast and will be baptized in less than a year. Crazy! I think she had a fun birthday. It wasn’t all the pomp and circumstance that her other sisters had this summer with their birthday parties, but we made it special and I think she knew that. Read the rest of this entry »

We took our annual free homeschool day field trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium on November 7. I believe this is the 5th year we have gone. My friend Laura and I have this tradition that we carpool up there, hang out all day and then go to the Denis the Menace park till it’s too dark to see. Then we head home. Ok so I mentioned our cheese guy in brief. We know this guy. We mostly buy cheese from him, but he has all kinds of stuff. We’ve gotten paper cups, laundry detergent, bottled water, frozen meals, frozen pizzas, turkeys, chocolate syrup, candy…. All for less than half of what you’d pay at the cheapest grocery store. The recent cheese we’ve been getting from him comes in 40 pound blocks and is white cheddar. Ever had white cheddar? Simply the best cheese I think I’ve ever had!
