CHEAPER BY THE HALF DOZEN

Merry Christmas to us

Well we did it. We got ourselves an early Christmas present. Now normally I would not brag about something like this. I mean really, who wants to know all about the wonderful things I’m getting this year for Christmas? Well, despite my better judgment, I’m going to brag…… Read the rest of this entry »

I’m back

Have you ever gotten an early morning call? The one that rings and you just know it’s bad news on the other end? Ya, I’ve gotten those too. And guess what, I just got one a few weeks ago. Read the rest of this entry »

Handsome Boy

We do a science co-op. Actually my friend Audrey has an awesome husband who has volunteered to teach science to a group of homeschoolers ages 6-14. Anyway, the other day they were just starting class and there was a family that was a little late. Here is the conversation:

Bro. A-H: Where are the Hansen boys?
Milo (raising his hand): I’m a Handsome boy!!

Apparently that brought about a great smile and laugh. It’s good to know that Milo has no doubt in his mind how handsome he is! We love ya boy!

MIA

For those of you who may be wondering why I am Missing In Action it is because I am here in Fresno. I got an early morning call on Friday that my mom had fallen and broken her leg. Three days and a 2 hour surgery later mom seems to be recovering nicely. When I have more time and more sleep I will post more details.

By Scott

I was making tuna fish yesterday when Jaime comes up, grabs the can and starts scrutinizing it.

“What?” I ask.

“Is this tuna dolphin safe?” she asks?

“I dunno’. Why, are you not gonna eat it if it’s not dolphin safe?”

“No. I only eat dolphin safe tuna.” says my environmentally conscious 10 year old.

She studies the can a few moments longer, and says,

“OK, good, it’s dolphin safe” pointing out the label and walks away satisfied.

I didn’t realize that 10 year old girls cared about stuff like that.

Primary Sacrament Meeting

Sunday October 25 was our primary sacrament meeting program. I tried to remind myself the whole time that no matter what happens at the practices, the program ALWAYS turns out perfect. But with all the sickness going on and other outside influences, I let the practices stress me out. Read the rest of this entry »
