I told you February was low key around here. So I got to do some projects that I’d always thought would be fun to do but never had time to do them. Read the rest of this entry »

Ballet Tour
My decision to keep February free of extra’s was upheld in all cases but a few. When the email came out that someone was organizing a tour of the Ballet School in San Jose I was a little hesitant because it would only involve Alix. Read the rest of this entry »
February was Fantastic!!
Having decided months before, I scheduled nothing extra for February. I wanted to leave it wide open for doctor appointments and plenty of nothing days for Milo to heal and relax. What a great idea I had and what a wonderful month we had. Here are some highlights….. Read the rest of this entry »
The rest of January
The last time I wrote it was on January 25. Here is the rest of the story…..
Scott: He worked at the house the whole day (on January 25) and got the new water heater installed. He then spent the rest of the week working and then coming to the hospital in the evenings to give me a break and then going back home. He came Friday night and stayed in the hospital so I could go home. He was one busy tired guy but he never did complain. What a GREAT guy!! Read the rest of this entry »
2 MONTHS!!??
Has it really been two months since I’ve posted news about my family on this website?? What a hiatus for this family blog/journal. I’m very sad that it has been that long. LOTS of stuff has happened. I guess with me trying to stay up to date with Milo’s website I seriously neglected this one! Not anymore. My goal is to get all caught up. Not only for the present readers enjoyment, but for my posterity’s enjoyment too. I hope I have the umph to really do this goal….. :o)
Wanna Help?
A really great friend of mine is going to be affected by President Obama’s proposal to stop funding the Constellation program (The Constellation program was the program that was to produce the next generation of manned space vehicles. Within the Constellation program are Projects Orion, Ares, and Altair. Altair is the lunar lander, Ares is the rocket that launches the rest of the infrastructure into space, and Orion is the crewed exploration vehicle.). If you feel that this program should not be cancelled, feel free to contact your congressmen and let them know.
Here is an exert from my friend:
What’s that you say? How can you help? Well, I’m glad you asked. Since Obama can only recommend a budget and direction for NASA, congress gets the final say, and you can help by calling and/or writing your congressmen and telling them that you support the Orion program. If you aren’t the writing/calling type, you can simply go to this web site (http://www.goboldlynasa.org/ ), enter your contact info, and a letter will be automatically sent to your congressmen. Don’t worry, it’s not a spam site. It was created by engineers that I work with and it is safe.
