Final Days of Fun in Utah

After our late night on Saturday October 2, it was nice to sleep in just a bit on Sunday. But because of our sleeping in, it made for a crazy morning. We made another yummy breakfast (compliments of my brother and his yummy cooking skills). Then we attempted to get all the kids together and listen to conference. After much technical difficulty, we were able to listen to almost an hour of conference before we had to get everyone dressed and ready for baby blessing #2. Read the rest of this entry »

Even MORE Utah!

The main purpose for making the trip to Utah was to participate in 2 baby blessings. Scott’s brother Dean and sister Torry both had a baby in the same week. A first

I’m hopeful that Scott and I aren’t the only ones….but after 12 years of marriage we had a night alone in a hotel room. I have lots of friends who do this yearly. But Scott and I haven’t had this opportunity since our wedding night. So when he had a fancy hotel room in S.F. (for work) in early September and my sister was in town, we took advantage of the opportunity. Read the rest of this entry »
