Scott flew in the morning of Friday July 1. After a little bit of confusion and rearranging we were reunited again as a family and ready to head south to see the Hurst side of the family and play and eat and have fun for 4 days straight! Sweet bliss for sure! Read the rest of this entry »

Thursday June 30 was both super relaxed and super busy. We spent the whole of the morning just letting the kids play and lazily getting them dressed and ready for the day. Joy gave Milo a hair cut which he sorely needed and then we were off. Read the rest of this entry »

Wednesday June 29 was zoo day. We met up with Mandi and her mom and 2 of her sister-in-laws. Melissa S. ended up meeting us there later too. So we had quite the group! But it was so fun. I love our yearly tradition of going to the zoo. Read the rest of this entry »

Saturday June 25 I got up early and started packing up. Mandi’s family always stays till Sunday afternoon, but I had to get on with my trip. So after some yummy breakfast and lots of goodbyes and sadness, the kids and I headed out. Read the rest of this entry »

Getting up at 3 am to get ready to leave turned out easier than I thought it would. We were pulling out of my cousin’s driveway by 4 am. We had a long day ahead of us but I was confident that it would be fun. We did have a good time and we made good time! Read the rest of this entry »
