Milo Man

Well, Milo seemed to have a good first full day at home on Monday February 1.  He slept well Sunday night and didn’t wake up this morning till 8am.  He ate breakfast with us at the table and he took a bath.  He really enjoyed that.  He stayed in there 30+ minutes. (more…)

After a lot of hard work and a good night’s sleep, Milo proved to the doctors that he could come home safely and they agreed.  Milo “walked the line” and impressed them all.  Scott called me about 11am and said I could come pick them up. (more…)

After our morning visit with Milo, the girls and I went home and Scott and Milo chilled in the ICU for the rest of the afternoon.  I got a call from Scott a little later and he said that the doctor said that as soon as Milo could walk the line, he could go home.  (more…)

Milo had a stellar night last night. It’s amazing what Tylenol with Codeine will do for a boy. He went to sleep at 8, woke up at midnight to potty, slept until 5, woke up hungry, ate Jell-o, then dozed ’till 8 am when breakfast arrived. (more…)

Milo had a pretty rough go of it yesterday. He was very squirmy, itchy, sweaty, and even hallucinated a few times. Once he sat up and started grabbing at the air. “mommy, I want those fishies!” (more…)

We had an amazing night. Yay! He woke up this morning starving and so I started giving him liquids. He kept telling me to give more, but I think giving him more was too much and he chucked. (more…)

Milo has had a busy afternoon. Scott got here around 4 to give me a little break. At 4:30pm we had Milo sitting in a chair. At that point I made my exit. (more…)
